UA Women Leaders in Action

UA Women leaders in Action brings collegiate women together to help develop their leadership skills, expose them to critical issues and inspire them to make a difference on campus, in the local community, in the state and nationally.

Through an application process, three to four women from diverse backgrounds are selected to participate in UA Women Leaders in Action every March. The participants are selected because of their leadership potential. One of the goals of the UA Women Leaders in Action is to equip and empower college women with tools which will enable them to excel in the various facets of their lives and will assist change in the lives of others. Therefore, UA Women Leaders in Action students will attend the National Conference for College Women Student Leaders conference in Washington D.C. hosted by AAUW and NASPA and develop and implement a community action project the following fall and spring semesters.

To apply for the 2012-2013 UA Women Leaders in Action cohort, please click here. To be considered, applications must be submitted no later than Friday, February 24th, 2012 by 12:00pm.
